We are hiring a post-doctoral fellow to lead a project investigating epigenetics as a molecular link between prenatal exposure to diabetes and long-term health in a combination of human cohorts and animal models. This is a two-year funded position, but the candidate will be expected to apply for external funding opportunities, and extension beyond two years is possible dependent on funding.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a track record of success in both funding and publications
Have demonstrated experience in at least two of
molecular biology
physiology
animal models
multi-omic data
Be enthusiastic about working in an interdisciplinary team, and translating their findings to clinical colleagues and to the public
A letter of interest including a summary of your past research history, its relevance to work in the Jones and Dolinski labs, evidence of independence and creativity in research, and your future career goals
1-3 examples of previous research outputs, including peer-reviewed papers, preprints or posters
